Howell, William A. “Bill”, age 80, formerly of Tipp City, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2020 surrounded by his family. Born October 16, 1939 in Dayton, Ohio to the late George and Evelyn (James) Howell. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, brother Jim Howell, and son Terry Howell. Bill is survived by his children, Elizabeth Howell of Vandalia, OH, Amy (Joe) Litko of Woodstock, GA, Nick (Lora) Howell of Bellaire, OH, and William Michael "Mike" (Jessica) Howell of Troy, OH, brother Don (Bonnie) Howell of Vandalia, OH, Bob (Brenda) Howell of Miamisburg, OH, eleven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Bill worked as a printer for the BFS Printing Company in Dayton, Ohio. He was an avid Ohio State University football fan, coached the Tipp City peewee football league and was a great supporter of Tippecanoe High School football. He was an active member of the Ginghamsburg United Methodist Church. Bill enjoyed doing yardwork and had a passion for model trains, he loved playing the saxophone, but his greatest love was for his grandchildren, family, and friends. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, June 26, 2020 at Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio with burial to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, in New Carlisle, Ohio. Visitation 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday June 25, 2020 at the funeral home.
