Virginia "Ginger" Ann Frank {Stoltz} 84 of Tipp City, Ohio passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 5, 2023 surrounded by her children and loved ones. She was born October 25, 1938 in Dayton, Ohio to William and Mabel Stoltz. She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Frederick "Fred" Frank.
Ginger graduated from St. Joseph High School and the University of Dayton. She then worked for Ditto of Dayton. In 1972, Fred and Ginger moved to Tipp City. Once her children were older, she attended Edison Community College, earning her degree in Accounting before starting her own company, Virginia Business Forms, which she maintained until recent years. She enjoyed a fulfilling and active social life in quilting, bridge, euchre groups, book keeper for the Clothesline, the church golf league, the SpringMeade book club and other activities. On weekends, she could be counted on to be following football and basketball, especially Ohio State, Notre Dame and her beloved Duke. March madness was not a season to be taken lightly.
She is survived by her children Patricia (Glenn) Purdy of Kingsland, Georgia, Jennifer (Keith) Kingrey of Tipp City, Ohio, Michael (Kim) Frank of London, Ohio and her sister Ruth Stoltz of Dania, Florida. Also her grandchildren; Megan Kingrey, Erin Purdy, Johnathon Purdy, Jacob Kingrey, Christian Purdy, Kylie Smith and Ian Tavenner.
Services will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 753 S. Hyatt, Tipp City, Ohio 45371 on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. Visitation will be from 10-11:30 AM with Mass to follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Family Abuse Shelter of Miami County, 530 Crescent Drive, Troy, Ohio 45373 or The Pink Ribbon Girls, 350 Huls Drive, Dayton, Ohio 45315-8982.
