Vincent "Vince" Everett Caldwell

Caldwell, Vincent “Vince” Everett age 88 of Tipp City, Ohio passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2024. Vince was born on May 19, 1935 in Columbus, Ohio to Francis and Lillian {Casto} Caldwell. Vince is preceded in death by his parents, late wife; Patricia A. Pastrick Caldwell, sister; Judith Caldwell and son in law; John Gruenberg. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 25 years; Joan {Hawkins} Caldwell, children; Rebecca (Stephen) Belechak of Norfolk, VA, Amy Gruenberg of Mentor, OH, Karen (Eric Snead) Caldwell of Greenwood, SC, step-children; Karen (Ric)  Oberkrom of Huber Heights, OH, Mark (Charlena) Barlow of Vandalia, OH and Amy (Steve) Landes of New Carlisle, OH, brothers; Ron (Martha) Caldwell of Eagan, MN and Steve (Lucy) Caldwell of Fort Collins, CO. Also surviving are grandchildren; Daniel (Brooke) Leahy, Benjamin (Kylie) Leahy and Ryan (Amelia) Leahy, step-grandchildren; Alison Barlow, Zach (Stephanie) Fricke, Simon Oberkrom, Kallie (Keith) Jacobs, Eric (Sable) Landes and David Landes , great grandchildren; Roman Leahy, Wes Leahy, Quinn Leahy, Tristan Leahy and Trace Leahy, step-great grandchildren; Luna Fricke, Truett Jacobs, Dessa Jacobs and Amara Landes and his beloved dog; Beau.

Vince was a member of the YMCA and the Dayton Cycling Club. He was an avid bicyclist who loved seeing the world on his bicycle. He was a gardener, beekeeper, and very talented woodworker who enjoyed crafting intricate furniture. Vince was a perfectionist with a dry sense of humor and a beautiful head of hair.

A gathering of family and friends for a Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at SpringMeade White House, 4385 S. Co. Rd. 25A, Tipp City, OH 45371 on Saturday, May 18, 2024. Arrangements have been entrusted to Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home, Tipp City.
