Terry Lee Sowers

Sowers, Terry Lee age 75 of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022. Born August 19, 1947 in Northridge, Ohio to Earl Francis and Nannie Bell {Self} Sowers. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife; Sandi (Ogden) Sowers in 2004 and siblings; Earl Francis Sowers Jr., Thomas Sowers, Robert Sowers, Jack Sowers. Terry is survived by his children; Terry Lee Sowers Jr. of New Carlisle, James (Jennifer) Sowers of Troy, and Holly (Shawn) Dupuis of Huber Heights. Also surviving are siblings; Larry (Juanita) Sowers, Jerry Sowers and Joy (Larry) Ray, five grandchildren; Lee (Terry Lee Sowers III) and Luke, Mya and Megan, and Kelly and four great grandchildren; Levi (Terry Lee Sowers IV), Elizabeth, Cooper, and Conner.

Terry worked as a Machinist for Aerovent in Piqua for several years. In his later years, he became your friendly Ace Hardware man at the Vandalia store. Terry loved taking trips to Myrtle Beach and camping, walks in the cemetery, working on motors and cars. He enjoyed watching videos on YouTube about cars, trains and celebrity cemeteries. His family was the joy of his life along with his cats Barney and Sissy. He will be remembered by his witty sneaks and jabs under his breath.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00-6:00 PM on Friday, September 16, 2022 at the Troy Community Park, Shelter 3, 200 Adams St. Troy, Ohio 45373. Arrangements have been entrusted to FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, Tipp City, Ohio. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in loving memory of Terry to His Hands Extended Sanctuary, 1560 Dialton Rd., St. Paris, Ohio 43072.
