Terry L. Rogers

Rogers, Terry L. 75, of Tipp City, OH, passed away May 23, 2021, in Dayton, Ohio.  He was born June 5, 1945, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late H. Logan and W. Jean (Click) Rogers.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda (Ristow) Rogers, and three children Kevin (Courtney) Rogers of New Albany, OH, Sean (Shannon) Rogers of Westerville, OH, and Lauren (Gus) Vonderheide of Tipp City, OH.  Five grandchildren Colin & Christopher Rogers and Grant, Liam, & Owen Vonderheide.  Brothers Michael (Dana) Rogers of Marietta, GA, and Logan Rogers of Tipp City, OH.  He will be missed by many extended family and friends.

 As a resident of Tipp City for 50 years, he was an active member of his community.  He was a past President of Jaycees, Past Master of Tippecanoe Lodge 174, Master of Ceremonies for the Tipp City Mum Festival Queen’s Pageant for 20 years, a founding member of Tipp City Youth Soccer, performed in several productions of Tipp City Players, and sat on various government and community boards throughout his life.  Terry was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Vietnam. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, from 11 am - 1 pm at Frings & Bayliff Funeral Home 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371.  A Masonic service and funeral will immediately follow visitation hours.  Burial with military honors at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City, OH.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
