Rosalie Kay Gleim passed away on May 7, 2020, having suffered from congestive heart failure and COPD. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 7, 1936, to Kenneth and Hazel Gleim, becoming their first child.
Rosalie grew up in LaPorte, Indiana. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana and a master’s degree from Purdue University in Lafayette, Indiana. After graduation, she began teaching English Literature, French, Speech, and Creative Writing in Junior High, High School and College.
