Humbert, Richard “Dick” of Tipp City, Ohio passed away May 10, 2023. He was born December 24, 1942 to Jane and Clarence (Buck) Humbert in Celina, Ohio. Dick enjoyed drag racing, stock car racing and motorcycles. He drove the “Billy the Kid” Challenger for Bill Stepp in 1971 and was inducted in the Kil-Kare Hall of Fame in 2015. For many years, Dick was a businessman and auto mechanic in the Tipp City area. Dick was thought of as a loving husband, father, son, brother and uncle to his family. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters Linda Humbert, Janice Etnyre, and Sharon Baker; brothers Vernon Humbert and Bill Humbert, and sons Richard and Timothy. Dick is survived by his wife, Julia; daughter Deisa Hackney (Scott), son Derek Humbert and former wife Patty Tidwell; grandchildren Tyler, Taylor and Grace Hackney; brother Terry Humbert (Monica): brother-in-law John Baker; sister-in-laws Liveta Humbert and Debbie Humbert and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Monday, May 15th between 4:00pm - 7:00pm at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W Main St in Tipp City. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 16th at 10:30am. Burial to follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Tipp City.. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St Jude Research or Hospice.
