Trucksis, Raymond “Ray” Richard age 78 of Tipp City, Ohio passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2022. Born July 31, 1943 in Troy, Ohio to the late Richard and Evelyn {Warner} Trucksis. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Karen “Sue” Trucksis of Tipp City, sons, Richard (Julie) Trucksis of Bradford, Ohio, David (Valerie) Trucksis of Tipp City, and Steven (Tara Tipton) Trucksis. Also surviving are sisters Cheryl (Roger) Clyne of Tipp City, Cindy (Tim) Arthur of South Vienna, Ohio and 7 grandchildren, Henry, Anna, Alayna, Dalton, Myla, Wyatt and Tyler.
Ray was a graduate of Tippecanoe High School, served in the Army during The Vietnam War and The Cold War in Germany. He was a member of the Tipp City Fire Department for 15 years, worked at Hobart Brothers as a printer and served as a Deacon at the Bellbrook Church of Christ. He loved fishing, woodworking, rocks, telling stories, and genealogy.
Visitation will be 3:00-5:00 PM Sunday, March 6, 2022 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371. Funeral service Monday, March 7, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Pastor Bryan Forbes officiating. Burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City.
