Phyllis E. Tittle

TITTLE, Phyllis Eileen, 99, was called home to the Lord on 9 November 2022 at Randall Residence of Tipp City, Ohio. She was born 19 March 1923 to Therul & Gertrude Tittle; her sister, Doris Arlene and her husband John Allen Beyl preceded her in death.  

From the time Phyllis was a young girl of 15, she was a Sunday school teacher off and on for 50 years at the Church of the Nazarene in Tipp City. Also, as an active member of the Christian Women’s Club, she would host special speakers in her home.

Phyllis graduated from Bethel Local High School in 1942. She worked at the feed elevator, until she transitioned into the position of bookkeeper for Tipp Auto Sales. When it closed, she went to Piqua's Olds/Cadillac dealership as office manager and bookkeeper excelling at the GM financial record system.

Phyllis had a dream home she worked hard for and saved her money. In 1975, she built her dream home where she resided until July 2022 when she entered Randall Residence of Tipp City.  

Phyllis, a strong, independent woman, loved her home and flower garden, the birds, the tall trees around her pond.  She captured beautiful pictures of her flowers throughout all seasons. She excelled at needlecraft. Phyllis loved reading poetry and her Bible. She hosted seasonal and holiday parties for family and friends. She lived a wonderful long life blessed with good health and the love of her family and friends.

Phyllis is survived by her niece, Barbara Wells and her husband Brian Wells, three great nephews, Gregory, William and Joseph Kessler, four great great nieces, and four great great nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 15, 2022 from 9:30 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371. Pastor Rachel Kuhn officiating.  Burial to follow at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City.
