Patricia "Pat" Ann Cowan

Cowan, Patricia Ann “Pat” age 90 of Tipp City, Ohio passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 16, 2024. Pat was born on May, 31, 1933 in Warren County, Ohio to the late James and Jane {Knapp} Fox. She is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Charles H. “Digger” Cowan, son Mark Cowan, and grandsons Daniel Gabel and Brad Teaford Cowan. She is survived by her children Michael (Conni) Turben, James Turben, Jo Ann Gabel, and Chuck (Becky) Cowan Jr., sisters Gloria Richie and Nancy Hudson, eleven grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren.

Pat was a proud graduate of the Patterson Co-Op, Class of 1951. She worked as a Secretary for Ernst Enterprises and began selling Avon products in the mid 70’s, which she continued up until 2020. She loved her town and was a huge fan of all Tipp Athletics, the Dayton Dragons, and Cincinnati Reds. Pat was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church for more than 40 years. Her kind and gentle spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A visitation will be held from 10:30 AM until the time of funeral service at 11:30 AM on Friday, March 22, 2024 at the Zion Lutheran Church, 14 W. Walnut St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371. Kristen Zimmann officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Pat’s memory to the Zion Lutheran Church, the Humane Society of Greater Dayton, or Hospice of Miami County.
