Patricia Anne Fox
In the early morning hours on Tuesday, August 7th, after fighting the terrible Alzheimer’s disease, the heart and core of our family left us to start her new beginning.
Patricia Anne Fox, age 83, of Tipp City, Ohio, passed away at on August 7th, 2018 at her daughter’s house in Flatonia, Texas. She was born to the late Mary and Dewey Rose on January 15, 1935.
She grew up in Pleasant Hill, and graduated from Newton High School in 1953. She worked at Hobart/PMI Corporation for 19 years until she pursued her career in Real Estate until she retired.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Carl W. Fox and sisters Phyllis Bashore and Eileen Liebl.
She is survived by her daughters, Karla Smith-Stinnett (Bob) of Flatonia, Texas and Kelley Fox Humbert of Tipp City; and son Jeff Fox (Brenda) of Troy; grandchildren, Chad Holliday (Stephanie); Bryan Fox (Jennifer); Damian Humbert and Harley Humbert and great grandchildren, Brianna Fox, Juniper Fox and Lily Rose Holliday. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and close friends.
She is remembered for her quick wit, sparkling blue eyes and red hair. Her life was well lived and rarely a dull moment, many called her Foxy and enjoyed her orneriness. Patricia was a lifelong member of the Tippecanoe Chapter of Eastern Star, and member at the American Legion, VFW and Eagles in Tipp City. She enjoyed playing golf, euchre, darts, spending time at the lake, socializing and just having fun and laughs with family and friends. The one thing she would tell you though is she did not like to cook. Like Jeff, her son, always said knew when dinner was ready because the smoke alarms were going off!
