Norma, resident of Tipp City for 62 years, well-known for her garage sales and Mum Festival parties, loved to have a house full of people, surrounded by love and laughter. She worked as a waitress for over 40 years at Sam and Ethel’s, Polly’s, Rohrer’s, and The Tea Room. Her years of hard work won her the Waitress of the Year Award, and many years of stories. Norma enjoyed playing bingo, various card games, and camping with her family. She loved to babysit her grandkids and take them on walks to the park and sit on her porch and watch the cars go by. Loved by many, there wasn’t a person that she didn’t know, a place she didn’t go where someone didn’t know her; she loved Tipp City. She lived a life that was happy and healthy, and always told her family and friends to follow three important things: to be happy, healthy, and have a good education. Loved by everyone, Norma will be dearly missed.
