Ervin, Michael E. age 53 of Tipp City, OH passed away on May 12, 2021. Born May 25, 1967 in Dayton, OH to Charles Ervin and Shirley {Deardorff} Bendall. He is preceded in death by his father; Charles and mother in-law; Jane Shaw. Mike is survived by his, wife; Lynn {Shaw} Ervin, Tipp City, sons; Brandon (Kelsey) Ervin and Jared (Paige) Ervin all of Greenville, OH and granddaughter; Cora. He is also survived by mother; Shirley (Bill) Bendall, step mom; Rhonda Ervin, his siblings; Michelle Rodgers, Florida, Emily (Robbie) Coppock, Piqua, OH, Bradley (Kathy) Bendall, Enon, OH, Barry (Mary Kay) Bendall, Georgia, father in-law; Steven Shaw and sister in-law; Christi Stum as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Mike worked many jobs throughout his life time. His most treasured jobs were the ones where he worked with his sweetheart, Lynn. They worked side-by-side at GM for many years before owning their own cleaning service together. Lynn was Mike’s world. He was affectionately known as “Mr. Fixit”. There wasn’t a friend, neighbor or stranger who he wasn’t willing to help. Mike was a devoted Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Fan. He also coached his boy’s youth football and baseball teams. Throughout all the years of his son’s sports, he never missed a game. Above all else, he was a devoted family man; his family was his number one priority. His passing has left a hole in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St. Tipp City, OH 45371.
