Anderson, Margie {Eberhart} age 88 of Tipp City, Ohio passed away Sunday October 22, 2023. Margie was born April 15, 1935 to the late James and Martha {Begitske} Eberhart. She married Donald M. Anderson on June 27, 1953. Margie and Don were married 43 years until Don’s passing on October 25, 1996.

Margie is survived by three sons and one daughter-in-law; Greg Anderson of Cape Coral, Florida, Perry and Karen Anderson of Englewood, Ohio and David Anderson of Tampa, Florida. Also surviving are grandchildren; Josh, Amber, Brandon, Christy (Tyson Grant), Shonda, Carrie, Derek, Melissa, Joey and Heather, great grandchildren; Logan, Angelina, Roman, Elizabella, Owen, Bella, Keegan, Conner, Cody, Devin, Kaitlyn, Zane, Kade, Austin, Zach and Amber (Derek Geeding)and great-great grandchildren; Hunter, Harper, Ivy, Greyson and Sophia. Margie loved all her grandchildren very much. In addition to her parents and husband, Margie was preceded in death by granddaughter; Jeri Switzer, three daughters-in-law; Tara, Tracy and Laura and father-in-law and wife Lavon (Sara) and Betty Anson, father and step-mother; Calvin and Charlotte Anderson and brother-in-law Tommy Anderson.  Margie is also survived by  three brothers and one sister; Charles (Peggy) Eberhart  of Troy, Ohio, Mike (Vicki) Eberhart of Colorado, Louise Clark of Troy, Ohio and Jerry (Shaune) Eberhart of Johnson City, Tennessee and sister-in-law; Shirley (Kay) Phipps of Dayton, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.

Margie was a member of First Baptist Church, Tipp City, Ohio and served as a Deaconess for many years and white cross chairman. Margie also did the puppet show “Cooper” for the church ministry. She was a member of Valley Arts and Crafts Club and helped her husband with his wood crafts at many craft shows. They were also members of several camping clubs with many camping friends throughout the United States and Canada. She retired from Tipp City Schools as a school bus driver for over 20 years. Margie was a graduate of Miami Central class of 1953. Margie liked to volunteer at the Clothesline in Tipp City and was known as the “hanger lady”. She also volunteered at the USO in the Dayton Airport. She enjoyed gardening her flowers and plants and feeding birds and squirrels and had a soft spot for taking care of stray animals. Margie loved spending time with her family and friends. She had a big heart and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM until time of service at 12:30 PM Wednesday October 25, 2023 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371. Pastor Reggie Osborne officiating.
