Hildebrand, Marilyn J. age 92 of Springfield, Ohio passed away Saturday April 22, 2023. Born June 28, 1930 in New York City to William and Edith {Erlach} Zolzer. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Homer C. Hildebrand and sons; David Hildebrand and Daniel Hildebrand. Marilyn is survived by her daughter; Diane (Jim) Black. Also surviving are grandchildren; Andrew (Megan), Aaron (Amy), Adam (Jen), Donald (Lindsey), Pamela, Rachel Black and Benjamin Black and 14 great grandchildren.
Marilyn and Homer met in 1955 on vacation and were married in 1956 in New York and then moved to the Dayton area. They were married for almost 49 years. She was an Administrative Assistant and retired from Huber Heights City Schools in 1996. Marilyn was a member of the Tippecanoe Historical Society and the Year ‘Round Garden Club in Tipp City. She moved to the Springfield Masonic Retirement Village in 2007 where she joined the Red Hat Society and became an officer in the Resident’s Committee. Marilyn was so proud of her family and always said “they were all smart and good looking”. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
