Marabelle (Peyton) Henderson

Henderson, Marabelle (Peyton) passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021; surrounded by loved ones at home. 

Born June 30, 1933 to Rev. John Robert Peyton and Beulah LaRue (Butts) Peyton. She is preceded by her parents, husband, Russell L. Henderson and sister, Virginia (Peyton) Porter Smith.

She is survived by her children; John (Eileen) Henderson, Cynthia “Sa”(Louis) Buttino, James Henderson, Alyce (Andrew) Pacher,  as well as 10 grandchildren; Joshua Henderson, Julius (Brittany) Henderson, Adrienne (Ryan) Leaver, Nicholas (Hanna) Buttino, Amaris (Blake) Ross, Jessica (Shawn) McFadden, Taylor (Chris) Moehl, Morgan Henderson, Sarah Pacher, AJ Pacher as well as 14 great grandchildren; Kaelyn Henderson, Gavin and Camden Henderson, Emma and Hayden Leaver, Aubrey and Zoey Buttino, Liam Ross, Mahlina McFadden, Ella, Carter, Sophia and Logan Moehl, Sydney Pacher. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, David Porter, Charlene (Porter) Thomas, Mary (Porter) Guthrie and Gary Porter.

Marabelle was a 1951 graduate of Roosevelt High School in Dayton Ohio. Her father was the pastor of the Northridge Nazarene Church where she met Russell Leroy Henderson. The two married and raised four children in their home in Tipp City, Ohio. She was a member of the Tipp City Church of the Nazarene.

Russell passed away suddenly in April, 1986. Marabelle spent the rest of her years enjoying her career of 30+ years at B.F. Goodrich and then part time work at Kohl's after retirement. She loved to travel with friends but mostly loved spending time with her family. Her kindness and beautiful smile will be remembered by everyone who knew her. Her friends say, “What I remember most is she was always there for anybody that needed her.” She was most proud of her family and loved when they all got together.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a memorial service for family and friends at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 19, 2021; Pastor Ron Reynolds officiating, at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W.
