Karl J. Kretschmer

Kretschmer, Karl J. age 71 of Tipp City, Ohio passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2023. Born May 15, 1952 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Paul and Marian {Budde} Kretschmer. He is survived by his daughter; Kellie Kretschmer formerly of Tipp City, Ohio, former wife; Pat Kretschmer and siblings; Kathrine “Kathy”Kretschmer of Tucson, Arizona, Paul (Susan) Kretschmer of Laconia, New Hampshire and Mary Kay (Mark) Adams of Miamisburg, Ohio. Also surviving are Aunt Betty Dixon of Englewood, Ohio and many Kretschmer and Budde cousins.

Karl attended three schools growing up, Corpus Christi, Brown Elementary and Colonel White High School in Dayton, Ohio. He worked as a Metal Spinner for Dayton United Metal Spinners for nearly 40 years. Karl was fortunate and proud to get a hole in one in his lifetime at the local Homestead Golf Course.  For over ten years, Karl played with the “Foul Ballers”, a softball team.When his siblings moved away, Karl became the rock of the family by taking care of his parents through their illnesses. He was a great man that will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM, Thursday June 29, 2023 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371.In lieu of flowers, the family would like you to please consider a contribution in Karl’s memory to the charity of your choice.
