Jan Denise Chaney

Chaney, Jan Denise {Cheadle} age 65 of Troy, Ohio passed away at Upper Valley Medical Center on Saturday, May 7, 2022.  Jan was born on September 10, 1956 in Troy, Ohio to the late Jack Cheadle and Grace McMaken.  Along with her parents Jan is preceded in death by her brothers, Mark Cheadle, Jack Cheadle II, Stephen Trissell and sister Lindsay Brown. Jan is survived by her children; Courtney (Doug) Medlar, Tipp City, Ohio, Jill (Matt) Tomb, Tipp City, Ohio and Julie Compliment and her fiancé, Doug Stewart. Also surviving are brother Jeffrey (Peggy) Cheadle, Moorpark, California, sister Carrie Cheadle, Troy, Ohio, brother Chris (Darlene) Miller, Columbia, Missouri, stepmother, Cheryl Cheadle, Tipp City, Ohio, and grandchildren; Joslynn, Aubree, Sam, Zachary, Brynn, Eli, Peyton, CoCo, Oliver, Wyatt and Maddox.

Jan loved gardening and spending her free time outside doing yard work or just enjoying the sunshine on a patio. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Jan was the life of the party and will no doubt be remembered for her sense of humor and wonderful smile.

Visitation 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W.
