Grove, Jackie Carroll “Jack” age 91, of Brookville, Ohio, entered eternal rest the morning of Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at SpringMeade Health Center. He was born August 1, 1931 to Robert and Helen Grove of Tipp City. Jack was a Tipp City native, graduating in 1949 from Tippecanoe High School. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bruce Grove and Marvin Grove; son, Lance Grove and daughter, Vicki Sue English. He leaves to his memory his loving wife of almost 72 years, Glenna; daughters, Teresa (Rick) Kinnison and Barb (David) Lillich; and son, Robert (Jeannie) Grove; 13 grandchildren: Cami Grove, Quinten Grove, Tracy Lohnes, Travis Kinnison, Lukas Kinnison, Melanie Conover, Emily Morrow, Ben English, Brent English, Brandis Lloyd, Nikkia Doughtery, Amber Hastings, and Robby Grove; 20 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Jack was a very skilled tool and die tech/machinist, retiring from Universal Tool Corp, Dayton, Ohio. He was a talented handy man who could fix and repair almost anything. Upon retirement he and Glenna spent 17 wonderful years in McCormick, SC, enjoying time fishing, boating and playing golf before returning to Ohio in 2015. He loved his Lord, his family and his church. He was a committed spiritual leader in his church who was influential in the start of Community Bible Church in Tipp City in the 60’s (formerly known as Gospel Lighthouse).
A viewing will be held from 11:00 AM until time of service at 12:00 PM Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Community Bible Church, Tipp City. Pastor Jeff Seekins officiating.
