Esther Martin Obituary

Esther M. Martin age 93 passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021 at her home in Tipp City, Ohio. She was born February 7, 1928 in Montgomery County, Ohio. Esther is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Robert, and her infant son Robert Junior. She is survived by her children, Judith Groszewski of West Milton, OH, Roberta (Ron) Kirk of Westerville, OH, James (Lynda) Martin of Franklin, OH, Rebecca (Frank) Hicks of West Milton, OH, William (Rebekah) Martin of Franklin, OH, as well as, nine grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.

She was a 75+ year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, most recently at the Troy, Ohio chapter, and active with the Tipp Senior Citizens. She was a member of the Covington Christian Church in Covington, Ohio. Esther was famously known for her delicious pies.

The family would like to share their very special appreciation to Esther’s grandson Robert Hatcher for his love, devotion, and hard work.

She had many cherished friends and neighbors who assisted her in many ways, especially in her later years. Special thanks to Esther Fields, John and Judy Young, Luanne, and Teresa her neighbor.

A memorial service will be held for Esther at a future date in early 2022. Arrangements have been entrusted to FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, Tipp City, Ohio.
