David P. Copfer

Copfer, David P. age 81 of Tipp City, Ohio passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022. David was born on February 7, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late George and Eulalia {Noll} Copfer. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings; George, Ronald, Anna May and Rose Marie. David is survived by  his loving wife of 58 years, Rebecca {Keish} Copfer, children; David P. Copfer Jr of Tipp City, Matthew Copfer of Pasadena, Maryland and Kimberly Focht of Tipp City, four grandchildren; Joshua, Morgan, Cameron, and Emilia and four great grandchildren; Mason, Madison, Hayden, and Chase.  

David was a United States Air Force Veteran. He married the love of his life and moved to Tipp City to raise his family. He was self-employed most of his life which included owner of The She night club and Custom Auto Wash. He enjoyed golfing weekly with his golf buddies. He also enjoyed weekly poker nights with the guys. He was an avid Bengals, Reds, and Ohio State Buckeyes fan.  David loved his kids and grandkids with everything he had. He had friends everywhere he went and will be greatly missed by all. He was a member of the American Legion Unit 586, VFW, and Amvets.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 PM at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371. The funeral service will be the following day, Friday, May 6, 2022 at 10:30 AM at the Saint John’s Lutheran Church, 122 W National Rd, Vandalia, OH 45377. Marty Pepitone officiating.
