Daniel E. "Dan" Vore

Vore, Daniel E. “Dan” age 57 of Tipp City, OH passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Grandview Medical Center, Dayton, OH.  Born September 6, 1962 in Dayton, OH to the late Elmer F. “Tittle” and Phyllis {Smith} Vore.  Along with his parents he is preceded in death by one brother, Michael Vore.  Dan is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly {Katzenbach} Vore, three daughters; Alyssa Vore, Ashley (Daniel) Adkins and Abigail Vore.  Also surviving are sisters; Mary Ann (Carlton) Preston, Susan (Ron) Marks, Nancy Winfield, Rosalie Vore, Carolyn (Michael) Theret and brother, David (Therese) Vore, grandchildren; Jack Vore, Sarah Johnson, Lucas Johnson, Daniel Vore, Devin Hetzer and Maddox Adkins and several nieces and nephews.

Dan was a 1981 graduate of Chaminade Julienne High School and worked as a logistical manager for Meijer Distribution, Tipp City, OH. He enjoyed spending his time building and flying remote control planes. Family was the most important thing to him; he especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren...occasionally sneaking them some extra pieces of candy. Daniel will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving father, for his quick wit, sense of humor, his infectious smile and his kind spirit. 

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 753 S. Hyatt St. Tipp City, OH; Father R. Marc Sherlock, officiating.  Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Tipp City.
