Carl (Sam) Siembida, 78 of Tipp City, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on January 23, 2022.
He was born Carl Joseph Stephen Siembida on January 30, 1944 in Youngstown, Ohio to John J. Siembida and Gladys K (Mitulinski) Siembida.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Darlene M (McCune) Siembida; daughter, Heather M. Siembida and her husband Jeff Crook and 4 boys; Parker, Jackson, Garrett, and Mason of Columbus, Ohio; sister Leona (Siembida) Krispinsky and husband Ray Krispinsky; brother Philip Siembida and wife Kathy of Columbiana, Ohio.
He was a Youngstown East High School Graduate Class of ‘62 and a Youngstown State College Alumni as an Art Major. He was a Vietnam War Army Veteran as a Drill Sargent at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. He was a former employee of Electronic Data Systems of Dallas, Texas as a facility planner for 30 years, building and tearing down data centers. He loved driving his Miata, trap shooting, gardening, creating gadgets, and walking the dog. He enjoyed people and was known for his sarcastic sense of humor.
His soul is now at peace, and pain free, and we picture him driving his Miata, working in the garden, sitting and contemplating what he had done.
He was an amazing man, dedicated husband to his wife and family: who also taught his daughter to be strong and knowledgeable of many things. He was an inspiration!
Regrettably, due to safety concerns for our family and friends, a private memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P. O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023, www.diabetes.org or Brookdale Hospice Dayton, 2621 Dryden Road, Moraine, OH 45439. Arrangements have been entrusted to FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W.
