Beloved son, brother, and father, Andrew Philip Raybourn, age 40, entered the Kingdom of God surrounded by family on November 4, 2022, after a brief and valiant battle with lung cancer. Andrew was born in St. Louis, Missouri on January 12, 1982. He entered this world during the middle of a blizzard, and rightfully so would continue blowing through his life. He attended Miami East High School and became the first in his family to graduate earning an Associates Degree from Miami Jacobs Career College in 2012.
Although a true believer in God, his life was not without battles, however, the birth of his son, Wyatt, gave Andrew new purpose. He became a doting father, and every choice became about giving Wyatt the best this life has to offer including loving God.
Andrew genuinely became like a pebble thrown into the lake as the lives he touched acted as ripples that would extend far beyond just those who knew and loved him. His love of life was evident in the way he lived, and even sitting in the garage turned into a fun time with family, friends, music and of course food he cooked on the grill.
Andrew was a loving son, protective brother, devoted father, and caring friend. He leaves a huge hole in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him, who were always entertained by his stories and hilarious sense of humor.
Andrew is now at peace in the loving arms of our Lord, dancing with his Grandma (Marjory L. Braumiller), fishing with his Grandpa (Frank D. Ritchie), and playing football with his cousin (Alex J. Ritchie).
He leaves behind a heartbroken family including his children, Kylie Raybourn, Wyatt Andrew Raybourn; mother, Bonita S. Ritchie; siblings, Jennifer (Brad) Kitta, Bethany Fortner (Ray Steiner), Mark (Tiffany) Fortner; aunts and uncles, Joel (Diana) Ritchie, Eric Ritchie, Maria (Dan) Ellis, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, and a list of lifelong friends.
