ROBINSON, William S. "Sam", age 65, of Troy, passed away Friday, December 6, 2013. He was born June 18, 1948 in Troy. Sam was currently employed at Industry Products and was a member of the Miami County Amateur Radio Club and Troy Fish and Game. He enjoyed racing Radio Controlled Cars, Ham Radio, sport shooting and fishing. Sam loved his grandchildren and spending time with them. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Gertrude "Trudy" Robinson; daughter, Melanie Jo (Jeffrey) Grote of Piqua; sisters, Betty L. Robinson and Barbara S. Robinson-Detrick-Broughton; brothers, Gary L. (Nancy) Robinson and David E. (Patricia) Robinson; grandchildren, Caitlin Grote and Jeffrey Grote. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 10, 2013 from 5-8 pm at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH, where funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 11, 2013 with Pastor Dan Cain officiating, burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City.
