Posey, William C. "Bill", age 88 of Tipp City, Ohio. Died Friday, January 20, 2017 at his residence. Bill was born August 23, 1928 in Dayton, Ohio to Charles and Beulah Posey who precede him in death. Also preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Posey, in 2016, and their daughter, Lou Ann Posey in 1998. He was a Plant Manager and Vice President at Aerovent in Piqua, Ohio, and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Bill was a very active member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Tipp City, and spearheaded the preservation of the Old Lutheran Cemetery on South Hyatt Street. He served on the Miami County Zoning Board for 41 years. He was a member of the committee for the L.T. Ball School Campaign. Surviving are his sons, William L. "Bill" Posey, Tipp City, and Charles J. "Chuck" Posey, Vandalia, Ohio. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 26, 2017, at 10:30am at the Zion Lutheran Church, corner of Third and Main Street, Tipp City. Pastor Jeff Glawe officiating. Burial in Glen Haven Cemetery, New Carlisle, Ohio.
