Obituary

Cooper, William F. "Bill", 90 of Springfield, OH passed away peacefully Sunday, January 27, 2013 at the V. A. Medical Center, Dayton, OH. Born April 11, 1922 in Dayton, OH to William C. and Clara Belle {Rosier} Cooper. He is preceded in death by his parents and his first wife; Dolores G. {Fox} Cooper. Bill is survived by his wife; Josefa "Josie" {Chicote} Cooper, daughter; Maxine and her husband Roger Stevens, Kansas City, MO, son; Patrick and his wife Debbie Cooper, Springfield, OH, step children; Carlos and his wife Ien Buhain, Guam, Yvonne Cruz, Patricia Hain and Raul and his wife Jane Buhain all of Los Angeles, CA along with 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Bill proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Corp. during WWII and had worked for NCR in Dayton, OH as a machinist and after retiring was a Lt. Guard at the London Correctional Institute. Bill was a gentleman farmer, loved dogs and enjoyed fishing. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 1, 2013 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371, burial to follow in Forest Hills Cemetery, Vandalia. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. www.fringsandbayliff.com
