Fritz, Walter "Dan" 74 of Tipp City was called home to be with the Lord, following a brief illness on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 in Dayton, OH. Born April 28, 1941 in Brookville, OH to the late Walter B. and Louise {Adkins} Fritz. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Fritz. Dan is survived by his daughter, Terri and her husband Tim Zimmerman, Tipp City, grandchildren, Taylor (Samuel) Akins, Tommy Zimmerman and Jeannie Green, 6 great grandchildren, sister, Jan Ashworth, Troy, OH a niece and 2 nephews. Dan loved and trusted in his Savior Jesus and was a member of the Greater Galilee Baptist Church. He had a great love of his family and friends and always had a joke or smile to share. Dan had a passion for Mopar cars, the Cleveland Browns, good food and time spent with his loved ones. He worked many years at Standard Register and later retired from Emery World Wide. Dan will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371, Pastor Chris Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery, Vandalia, OH. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 14th at the funeral home.
