Smith, Vivian Jean "Bid" age 85 of Tipp City, Ohio passed away at Hospice of Miami County in Troy, Ohio on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. Vivian was born on August 15, 1938 in Hillsboro, Ohio to the late Russell and Helen {McCall} Kidder. She is preceded in death by her parent, husband William H. Smith, infant son Joseph Smith, and brother Russell Kidder. Vivian is survived by her children Billie Sue Smith of Tipp City, Ohio, Russell Smith of West Port, Connecticut, Pete (Tiffany) Smith of Sidney, Ohio, siblings, Carol Haskett of Georgia, Janet Owens of Michigan, and Sharon Fischer of Kentucky. Also surviving are grandchildren Karie and Tony Smith, and great grandchildren Ayden Royal and Ollie Smith.

Vivian worked as a Manager for Tipp Novelty Company for over forty years. She was the family matriarch, who took care of everyone. She was the oldest of her siblings and played the role accordingly. Vivian was not afraid to give her opinion, whether you liked it or not. She loved her family with all her heart, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
