Prince, Virginia R. 86 formerly of Tipp City, OH passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Bethany Lutheran Village, Centerville, OH. Born April 11, 1929 in Columbus, IN to Homer and Vida {Jackson} Crank, Sr. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Stanley J. Prince in 2006, 2 daughters, Deborah and Denise Prince, sister, Betty Ott and brother, Homer Crank, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Diane (Vance) Plumert, Bellbrook, OH, grandchildren, Shannon and Jarid Apfel, Brittany and Brandon Plumert, brother and sister in-law, John (Nancy) Prince, Mason, OH, as well as many nieces and nephews. Virginia was a graduate of St. Vincent's Hospital School of Nursing, Indianapolis, IN and worked as a registered nurse for many years, retiring from Stouder Memorial Hospital, Troy, OH. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Tipp City and was very active at St. Christopher's Catholic Church, Vandalia, OH. Virginia enjoyed gardening and reading and was a two time published poet in the National Library of Poetry. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 28, 2015 at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, Dayton, OH.
