Perri, Virginia D. 98 of Tipp City passed away Wednesday March 21, 2012 at Spring Creek Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Huber Heights. Born May 30, 1913 in Richmond, IN to Marco and Carmella {Alterisio} DeLucio. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Frank Perri in 1994, brother; Nick and his wife Mary DeLucio, John DeLucio, Fred DeLucio, sisters; Kate Raines, Mary Frances and her husband Harold Shafer, Edie and her husband Carl Brown, brothers in-law; Dick Norman and Nobal Sheppard. She is survived by her children; Frank W. and his wife Kathie Perri, Tipp City and Michael R. Perri, Los Angeles, CA, brothers; Paul (Romaine) DeLucio, Robert (Nancy) DeLucio, Raymond (Judy) DeLucio all of Richmond, IN, sisters; Toni Norman, Phyllis Sheppard both of Lynn, IN, and Lorene (George) Stallings, Richmond, IN, brother in-law; Harold Raines, Florida, sisters in-law; Ruth DeLucio and Onda DeLucio, Richmond, IN. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Dean E. (Lori) Perri, Shelbyville, KY, Ted A. (Maureen) Perri, Henderson, NV, Laura M. (John) Stanley, Ft. Wayne, IN and great grandson; Zachary D. Perri.
Virginia was a graduate of Miami Valley Nursing College, worked for Sunshine Biscuit, Dayton, OH during WWII, and later was a volunteer for Dettmer Hospital Auxiliary. Virginia was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, gardening and entertaining family and friends at "Grandma P's" farm. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church 753 S. Hyatt St. Tipp City, Father R. Marc Sherlock, Celebrant, burial to follow in St. John's Cemetery, Tipp City. Visitation 6 to 8 PM Monday at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St. Tipp City, Ohio 45371. Contributions may be made in memory of Virginia to St. John's church for masses.
