Vocke, Virginia S. 92 of Tipp City passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at SpringMeade Health Center, Tipp City. Born June 1, 1921 in Tipp City, OH to Gus and Lora {Lewis} Schultz. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband; William C. Vocke in 2003. She is survived by her son; William C. Vocke Jr. "Buff" and his wife Carol, Taipei, Taiwan, daughter; Lucretia "Lucky" Vonderheide and her husband, Greg, Tipp City, daughter; Lynne Kronholm and her husband Kurt, Oxford, OH, grandchildren; Svea Vocke and her husband Uwe Schreiner, Connecticut, Erin Vocke Bailey and her husband Matt, Kentucky, Gus Vonderheide and his wife Lauren, Tipp City, Anne Vonderheide Lucas and her husband Rob, Troy, Nathaniel Kronholm and his fiancAC.e, Ashlee Dieck and Benjamin Kronholm, Colorado along with great grandchildren; Viveca & Henrik Schreiner, Ella & Lee Bailey, Grant, Liam and Owen Vonderheide & Bill Lucas. Virginia was a legal secretary, secretary/treasurer to William C. Vocke Nursery, Manager of Vocke Farms, Inc., and loving mother, grandmother for her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a lifetime member of Zion Lutheran Church, former president of Tipp City Public Library Board, Tipp City Historical Society, Tipp City Education Endowment Committee, and Year-Round Garden Club. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 30, 2014 at Zion Lutheran Church, corner of Third and Main St., Tipp City, Reverend Dr. David Moreland and Pastor Logan Dysart officiating, burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371 and one hour prior to the funeral on Friday at the church. Contributions may be made in loving memory of Virginia to Zion Lutheran Church, Tipp City Historical Society or the Tipp City Public Library.
