Obituary

Caudy, Virgil Allan age 81, of Springhill, Florida, passed away Monday November 7, 2016 at Oak Hill Hospital, Brooksville, FL, in the presence of family members. He was born on November 19, 1934 in Circleville, OH to the late Virgil Francis and Rhoda Bernardine (Stoer) Caudy. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Deanna Mary (Rabe) Caudy, a son Lawrence Edward Caudy, and a brother-in-law Ronald Rabe. He is survived by his loving wife Sharon (Walters/Donnelley) Caudy of Springhill, FL, two sons Michael D. (Jill) Caudy of West Harrison, IN and Jamar Caudy of W. Pam Beach FL; three granddaughters, Corryn, Megan and Kylie Caudy; One grandson, Trevor Caudy; three sisters, Mary L. Murphy of Salisbury, MD, Patricia (James) Mescher of Vandalia, OH and Carol "Kay" (David) Gill of Venice, FL and a brother, Charles (Kay) Caudy of Tipp City, OH. Other survivors include four sisters in-law, Shirley (Frank) Holtgrefe of KY, Charlene (William) Briede of West Chester, and Laura Mae Rabe and Marilyn (Gordon) Ulm, both of Cincinnati; three brothers in-law, Howard L. Rabe, Jr. of New Port Richey, FL, Robert Rabe and Donald Rabe both of Cinicnnati; 3 step-children, Donald F. (Jo) Donnelley, New Port Richey, FL, Patricia S. Donnelley of Milford, MI and Brian K. Donnelley of Livonia, MI; five step grandchildren, Donald J. Donnelley, Nicole Donnelley, David (Jade) Donnelley, Kent (Abbey) Pennington, and Kristen Pennington; five step great grandchildren, Ariel, James, Brennan, Tierny and Eden Donnelley; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Allan, as he was known, graduated from Troy High School in 1952 and worked for Aero Products, Vandalia, OH, A. O. Smith, Tipp City, West Milton Precision Tool and Delco Products, Dayton, OH. He retired in 1998. He was a member of the America Legion Paradise, Post 0079 New Port Richey, FL. A private graveside service will be held at St. John's Cemetery, Tipp City, OH at the convenience of the family. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. A public visitation will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St. Tipp City, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
