Vera Alice (Neff) Decker-Rittenhouse-Rigsby age 98 of Tipp City, Ohio passed away on April 3, 2021. Born June 21, 1922 in Tipp City, OH to Ernest V. and Clara {Evans} Neff. She is preceded in death by her parents, first husband; Charles Decker, second husband; Hershel Rittenhouse, third husband; Guy Rigsby, son; Kermit Decker, infant son; Charles, grandchild; Melissa Foos, and all of her siblings. She is survived by her children; Connie (Malcolm) Decker-Glaser-White, Sidney, OH, Carolyn (Dana) Horton, Grand Junction, CO, Keith Decker, Sidney, OH, grandchildren; Jon (Tonya) Glaser or Tipp City, David, Tyler, and Marisa Decker of Owensboro, KY, Charlie and Andrew Decker of Bradenton, FL, and several great grandchildren.
Vera worked at Nevin Coppock Elementary School for many years. She was a member of the First Church of God in Piqua, OH and Bradenton, FL. Vera served on the board and was president of the Sunshine Academy and was a church office volunteer. She also served as the president and board member of Cortez Villa Condo Association. Vera retired to Bradenton, FL, was an avid fisherman and dearly loved her family; especially her grandkids.
Visitation 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME , 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371. Funeral service 11:30 AM April 14, 2021 at the funeral home; Pastor Bonita Ritchie officiating. Burial to follow in Polk Grove Cemetery, Vandalia, OH.
