Matthews, Tom 84 of Tipp City , Ohio passed away on Wednesday February 9, 2011. Born April 6, 1926 in Tipp City to Peter Ray and Ethel Reba Bridgeman Matthews. Tom was a member of the Flying Angels of New Carlisle, the I.O.O.F. of Tipp City and past member of the VFW Post 88 of Tipp City. He also served in the United States Army stationed in Fort Knox, Kentucky . Tom had many loyal friends and for anyone who crossed his path in life he was there to give them a helping hand. He is preceded in death by his parents; Peter Ray and Ethel Matthews and his wife; Linda Matthews. He leaves behind his children; Teresa, Miriam, Naomi, Mark, Paul, Eunice and Rachel, as well as thirteen grandchildren. He is also survived by his loving companion and dance partner, Sherrie Wilson, who in Tom's words "is the love of my life."
