Heffner, Thomas "Tom" R. age 61 of Tipp City died suddenly, Monday, May 24, 2010 at Upper Valley Medical Center , Troy , Ohio . Born November 20, 1948 in Troy , Ohio to Robert C. and Lois {Ressler} Heffner. Tom is preceded in death by his father, a brother; Theodore J. Heffner and infant sister; Peggy Ann Heffner. He is survived by his mother; Lois Heffner, Tipp City , wife of 40 years; Linda Gail {Helton} Heffner, Tipp City , son; Clinton R. Heffner and his wife Cheryl, Troy and daughter Juliet Madden and her husband James, Dayton, uncle; Floyd Heffner, Conover, grandchildren; Chris, Charlie and Cameron Heffner, numerous cousins and his loyal companions Coca and Precious. Tom was a 1967 graduate of Tippecanoe High School, a retired computer programmer from U. S. Trotters Association, an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam era, and a musician who played the bass guitar in the band "Rewind". He was a good husband, father, grandfather and a very good friend to many people. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday May, 29, 2010 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St. Tipp City, Ohio 45371, Pastor Larry Sneed officiating, burial to follow at Bethel Cemetery, Phoneton, Ohio. Visitation 5 to 8 pm, Friday May 28, 2010 at the funeral home.
