Rappold, Thomas Edwin,age 66, of Tipp City, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born April 21, 1943 in Dayton, Ohio. Tom was a member of the Vandalia Baptist Church. A US Marine Corp Vietnam Veteran. He retired from TDR Tool, Dayton and S&K Mold and Tool, Tipp City.He is survived by his children Dr. Todd (Rebecca) Rappold of St. Paris, Doug (Melissa) Rappold of Pleasant Hill, and Sandra Rappold of Tipp City, and 7 grandchildren who were the light of his life. He is also survived by his sister Judi (Lavern) Prock of San Luis Obispo, CA and lifelong friends Don Biddorf and Tim Milligan. Tom was preceded in death by his father George Rappold, mother Mary Kay Rappold, and sister Lyn Rappold.Tom was a life long resident of the Dayton area. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and training his dog. Graveside services will be held Saturday April 3, 2010 at Sugar Grove Cemetery, West Alexandria, Ohio. Pastor Rick Washburn, Jr. officiating.Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, April 2, 2010 at Frings & Bayliff Funeral Home,327 W. Main St. Tipp City,OH 45371.
