Theresa A. Hawn

Hawn, Theresa A. age 80 of Tipp City, Ohio passed away Monday, August 10, 2026 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. She was born April 7, 1946 in Mercer County, Ohio to Nicholas and Elizabeth Belina. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Rose Adkins. Theresa is survived by her loving husband of 57 years John M. Hawn of Tipp City and brother Nicholas (Janice) Belina Jr. of Rockford, Ohio.

Theresa lived a life filled with adventure, love, and unforgettable experiences. For 40 years, she had the extraordinary opportunity to see the world as an international flight attendant, a career that allowed her to combine her love of travel with her natural sense of adventure.

Theresa began her career with Trans World Airlines (TWA) in 1966 and spent more than three decades flying around the world. She continued her career with American Airlines, ultimately retiring in 2006 after an incredible 40 years in the airline industry.

Through her work, Theresa and her husband were able to see the world together, turning her career into a lifetime of adventures. Their travels took them to countless places and created memories that they shared and cherished throughout their lives. Her adventurous spirit, curiosity, and willingness to experience all that life had to offer were a defining part of who she was.

When she wasn't traveling, Theresa found joy in the comforts of home. She loved cooking and baking, sharing the warmth and happiness that came from a lovingly prepared meal or something sweet from the oven.

Theresa will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, her love of travel, and the many wonderful memories she created along the way. Her life was a journey filled with remarkable places, treasured experiences, and the people she loved. She leaves behind a legacy of adventure and a reminder to embrace the world, make memories, and enjoy the journey.

No formal services will be held. In lieu of flowers her family suggests that anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution in Theresa’s honor to please consider a charity of your choice.
