Dils, Theodore Maynard age 65 of Troy, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. Ted was born on August 7, 1956 in Eaton, Ohio to the late Maynard and Barbara {Prince} Dils. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandchild Lauren Elizabeth Barry. He is survived by children, Angela Groff of Arcanum, Ohio, Emily (Don) Barry of Troy, Ohio, Katara Dils of New Lebanon, Ohio, siblings Dennis (Cindy) Dils and Kathy (Troy) Hixon of Centerburg, Ohio, four grandchildren, Haleigh L. Groff, Heidi J. Curtis, Benjamin T. Barry, and Aspen L. Curtis, and one great grandchild Paisley R. Menger.

Ted worked as a Diesel Mechanic for UPS in Piqua. He had a passion for collecting military memorabilia, and was an avid member of The Ohio Gun Collectors Association. When he was younger he enjoyed skiing, snowmobiling, and seeing the Colorado Mountains. He also had many other interests including; camping, playing guitar, knives and guns, Hueston Woods, and John Denver, but his greatest love was spending time with his family, especially his kids and grandkids.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at The Bridge Church, 12259 N. Old 3C Hwy, Sunbury, Ohio 43074. Burial to follow at Sunbury Memorial Park, W. Cherry St., Sunbury, Ohio. Arrangements have been entrusted to FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME , Tipp City, Ohio.
