MASTERS, Terry W., age 64, of Dayton, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, July 30, 2015. He was born April 29, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio. He is survived by his wife Stephanie Masters; mother Geneva Masters, daughter Brittney (Chad) Montgomery, step-children, Samantha Hughes, Nathan (Taylor) Hughes, Michael P. Hughes and granddaughters, Kaylor and Harper Hughes, brothers, Bill (Brenda) Masters and Shelby (Lisa) Masters. Terry was preceded in death by his father William Masters and brothers, Phillip and Jerry Masters. Terry was a graduate of Northmont High School and began his career at GTE as a lineman, working his way into upper management before retiring in 2003. He then worked at the Expediting Co. until his departure doing what he enjoyed; driving a truck. Terry was a past Master of Sojourners Lodge in York Rite Masonry, had been a member of Marion Chapter #62 and council #22. He had been crowned a 32nd degree Mason in the Scottish Rite in the Valley of Columbus Ohio. He was also a member of VFW Post 6560 and F. O. E. Eagles Post 2641. A dear friend to many, a true Father/Mentor to his children who he shared his love and knowledge of the outdoors, fishing, hunting, golf, motorcycles and cars. Amateur bowler and trap shooter, he traveled to participate in what he enjoyed doing. Time with his wife cut short and plans made to live life together is now a memory, but knowing Terry suffers no more gives some peace to those who loved him so much. Help celebrate his life August 15, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the VFW Post 6560; 5483 Wadsworth, Dayton, OH. In honor of his day OSU, Browns jersey's and Harley attire welcome.
