T. Ramona (Punky Coddington) Bowling Mason, 85 died peacefully at her home on April 7th. She was a former Troy, OH resident and lived currently in Tipp City, OH. Ramona was a 1947 graduate of Tippecanoe High School. She retired from the Tipp City Public Library. Ramona was formerly married to the late James F. Bowling who died in 1968. She is survived by her current husband Howard Mason, her son Dr. James E. (Karen)Bowling and her daughter Donna Jean Taylor, step-children; Verdena (Jack) Stethen, Arizona, Sharon Baysinger, Arizona and Dan (Ronda) Mason, Kansas, three grandchildren; Eric (Kristine)Bowling, Susan (Nate) Wessels, Serena Nelson and six great-grandchildren. Ramona was preceded in death by her sister Mary Margaret "Fritz" Yetter, her brothers James V. Coddington, Kenneth D. "Cub" Coddington, and her parents Milton V. and Mae M. Coddington. She was a charter member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 586 in Tipp City. She attended the Middle District Church of the Brethren and was a member of and enjoyed traveling with the Tipp City Senior Citizens group. Funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371, Dr. Greg Ryerson officiating.
