Slate, Susan Marie , age 60, of Tipp City, Ohio passed away, Thursday, September 3, 2020. Born July 5, 1960 in Cleveland, Ohio to James David Slate and the late Sandra Louise (Watts) Cunningham. Susan is preceded in death by her mother, Sandra. She is survived by her father and his wife Louise, siblings Kelly (Tom) Flora of Tipp City, OH, David Lee (Suzy) Slate of Venice, FL, and John Riley Slate of Dayton, OH, daughter Robin (Jacob) Galik and grandson John Patrick of Wheeling, WV. She is also survived by her niece and nephews TJ Flora of Frisco, TX, Rebecca (Jared) Royse of Tipp City, OH, Will (Kayla) Flora of Vandalia, OH, and one great nephew Silas Flora of Frisco, TX.

Susan was a 1978 graduate of Trotwood-Madison. She was an advocate for the cure for pancreatic cancer and often volunteered at local food banks. She enjoyed cooking and delivering meals to neighbors and friends. She loved her little dog Ming but her greatest passion was being a devoted aunt, loving sister, and friend to many.

A visitation will be held for Susan on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 starting at 5:00 PM at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME , 327 W. Main St. Tipp City, OH 45371, until the time of the memorial service at 6:00 PM with Pastor Tony Miltenberger officiating.
