Spangenberger, Steven R. "Spanky" age 60 of Tipp City, Ohio passed away unexpectedly Sunday April 28, 2024. He was born February 22, 1964 in Springfield, Ohio to Robert and Vivian {Evans} Spangenberger. Spanky is preceded in death by his parents and brother; Robert "Bob" Spangenberger. He is survived by his sons Cody (Jess Halsey) Spangenberger of Tipp City and Shayne Spangenberger of Dayton, Ohio, brother; William "Bill" Spangenberger of Piqua, Ohio and ex-wife and best friend; Sherri Minton Mikalas. Spanky is also survived by step grandchildren; Ayden, Dylan and Nolan Halsey and nieces and nephews; Nicholas, Daniel and Kellee Spangenberger.

Spanky was a member of Tipp City Eagles Aerie 2201 and VFW Post 4615. He loved Big Time Wrestling and the Cleveland Browns. Spanky and his dad were avid duck hunters. He was very loving, caring, honest, funny and would go out of his way to help anyone. Spanky will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM Thursday May 2, 2024 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday May 3, 2024 at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.
