Vogel, Steve P., age 71, of Troy, Ohio, passed away Saturday August 12th following a valiant battle with leukemia. Born May 30, 1946 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Clifford and Esther {Berg} Vogel, who preceded him in death. Steve is survived by his loving wife Christine {Politis} Vogel, children; Susan Vogel (Andrew) Crane, Loveland, OH, Jennifer Hill, Napierville, IL, Julie Vogel (Rob) Dang, Chicago, IL, Alexandra Adinamis Bartley, Dayton, OH and George (Robyn) Adinamis, Loveland, OH, brother, Richard "Dick" (Patricia) Vogel, Cincinnati, OH. Also surviving are grandchildren; Jackson August Crane, Samuel Bender Crane, Miles Berg Crane, Tavis Michael Hill, Katherine Elizabeth Bartley, Audrey Michelle Adinamis, Nora Kay Adinamis, Calvin Vogel Dang, Paxton Vogel Dang and Logan Vogel Dang, and nephews, Andrew (Wendy) Vogel and Josh Vogel. Steve was the Vice President of Operations at Peak Foods, Troy, OH. He was a graduate of Western Hills high school, a University of Cincinnati graduate and alumni member of T. O. Fraternity. He enjoyed bicycling, canoeing, hiking and was well read. Steve was a mentor to many and his wisdom and insight will be missed by all. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, August 18, 2017 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in loving memory of Steve to, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
