SHIRLEY JEAN (SWANNER) GRANT, 85 of Vandalia, Ohio passed away Saturday, April 5, 2025.

She was born on December 13,1939 in Hazard Kentucky to Thomas Ray and Virginia (Napier) Swanner.

Shirley graduated from Stivers High School Class of 1958. She worked at NCR then Stumps Markets and ultimately retired from Fulmer's as a Receiving Clerk. Shirley loved spoiling her grandchildren, keeping up with current events and was an avid sports fan. She particularly enjoyed watching NASCAR, Ohio State Football and Kentucky Wildcat Basketball.

She is survived by her children: Catherine (Thomas) DuBois, Steven (Melissa) Grant, Joe (Diana) Grant, and Toni Ann (Keith) McQuown,

Siblings: Faye (Larry) Veer, William (Dianna) Krahn, and David Krahn.

Sisters-in-law: Alice (James) Swanner and Jeanetta (Donnie) Krahn.

Grandchildren: Erica, Kaitlyn, McKenzie (Peyton), Taylor (Justin), Shane, Tiffany (Austin), Steffany, Ava, Laura and Ali as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents and brothers James Ray Swanner and Donnie Krahn.

Private services will be held for the family at a later date.
