Law, Scott age 70 of Tipp City, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, January 6, 2013. Scott or "Mr. Law" as most called him was a graduate of Cheltenham High school in Wyncote, PA. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard where he served from 1960-1964. He began his career as an electrician in Philadelphia, PA and moved to Boynton Beach, FL in 1979, where he owned and operated a successful electrical business- Scott Electric, for more than 20 years, while achieving the status of Master Electrician. He worked for Meisner Electric for 12 years and finished his electrical career with the City of Boynton Beach as an electrical inspector. After retiring, Scott and his wife Dot moved from Boynton Beach, FL to Beverly Hills, FL where they resided for 4 years. In 2007, they moved to Dot's hometown of Tipp City, OH. Scott was always happy and enjoyed life, you never saw him with out a huge smile on his face. He was a creative problem solver and loved the challenge of new and interesting dilemmas, one way or another he would always find a solution. Throughout his life he embraced and was fascinated with the ocean and especially sailing. He was very active in the community and enjoyed coaching little league baseball, bowling, reading, surfing, drift fishing, and especially loved being a father and a grandfather. He touched the hearts of many people in his life and will be missed dearly. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Law; children Jason Law; Kimberly (Law) Altman and her husband Jason; Amy (Bohmer) Stueve and her husband Pete; Carrie (Bohm) Rowland and her husband Tony; Andy Labosky and his wife Jennifer. Seven grandchildren Samantha, Lydia, Jake, Ben, Charlie, Drew, Grace and last but not least his faithful dog, Rosie. Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 4-6PM at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 West Main Street, Tipp City, OH 45371. A celebration of life will be held in Boynton Beach, FL on January 19, 2013.
