Downing, Scott Kristian, beloved son, brother, coach, mentor and friend passed away Friday February 9, 2024 at the age of 50. He was born November 3, 1973 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Billie Lee and Linda Gail {Newman} Downing. Scott is survived by his brother; Joseph (Ileana Del Campo Gray) Downing of Tipp City, Ohio and nieces and nephews; Marcos Gray, Zoey Gray, Audrey Gray and Asche Fields.

Scott was a 1992 graduate of Tippecanoe High School and a 1995 graduate of The University of Dayton. He taught Government at Tippecanoe High School and head coach of the boys soccer team from 2005-2022. Scott was a fun loving, outgoing person and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held Sunday, February 25, 2024 from 1:30 PM until 4:00 PM at Tippecanoe High School, 615 E. Kessler Cowlesville Rd., Tipp City, Ohio 45371.
