Acton, Sally Vore of Diamond Bar, California passed away, Wednesday, May 7, 2014. Born in Tipp City on May 13, 1938 to Clyde Emerson "Pete" and Rachel {Null} Vore. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Kenneth S. Vore and niece, Mary McAdams Donthnier. She is survived by her husband, Larry Acton, daughters, Catherine Acton of Orange, CA and Sharon and her husband Pierre Yves Degaudenzi of Switzerland, brothers, Charles Vore, New Carlisle, OH, Clarence (Louise) Vore, Troy, OH, Jim (Cheryle) Vore, Lebanon, OR, Mike (Patty) Vore, Troy, OH, sisters, Susan (Paul) McAdams, Piqua, OH, Peggy (Jim) Widener, New Carlisle, OH, numerous nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. Sally was a retired Kindergarten teacher. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Alcony Grace Church 1045 S. Alcony Conover Rd, Troy, OH 45373. A light meal will be served following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, Sally's wishes were that donations be made to her daughter Cathy's group home for developmentally disabled adults.
