Papenbrock, Ruth D. 86 formerly of Tipp City, OH died Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at her home in Huber Heights, OH. Born February 23, 1928 in Dayton, OH to the late Owen Emmanuel and Ruth {Merrit} Croghan. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband; Fred C. "Pappy" Papenbrock Jr. and a daughter; Trisha Warner both in 1996. She is survived by her children; Dennis Papenbrock, Tipp City, OH Lynda (John) Weaver, Sidney, OH and Cindy Kendrick, Vandalia, OH and one sister; Dorothy Blakesly, Dayton, OH. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren; Heather (Mark "Butch") Thompson, Jessica Kendrick all of Vandalia, OH and Jason and Kyle Warner, Huber Heights, OH, along with 4 great-grandchildren; Tara Westfall, Shelby Crumpler, Madison Kendrick and Kaylee Thompson. Ruth was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed babysitting for family and friends and had been a real estate agent. Ruth also enjoyed a competitive game of cards. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, New Carlisle, OH. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
