Baltes, Ruth age 99 of Tipp City, Ohio passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025. She was born September 20, 1925 in Dayton, Ohio to John and Elizabeth {Luthman} Loewer. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, first husband Noland Gray, son Paul Gray, siblings Mr. and Mrs. Donald Loewer, Herbert (Evelyn) Loewer Bernard Loewer, Marge Leever, brother in-law Orlen "Jack" Rodgers,  grandson Peter step-son Rick Baltes and step daughter in-law Debbie Baltes. She is survived by her husband Richard Baltes of Tipp City, Ohio, children Mark (Rita) Gray of Middletown, Ohio, Susan (Peter) Campisi of West Chester, Ohio, siblings Mary Rodgers of Huber Heights, Ohio, Joann (Steve) Denman, Elizabeth "Betty" (Les) Sarniguet, Carol Gastiger, Eugene "Gene" Loewer, Howard (Helen) Loewer, sister in-law Barb Loewer and brother in-law Lou Leever. Also surviving are granddaughters Maria and Victoria Campisi and step-sons Michael (Kate) Baltes, Doug (Shirley) Baltes, Tony Baltes, Jeff (Lisa) Baltes, Tom (Hillary) Baltes and step daughter-in-law Lisa Baltes.

Ruth was dedicated to Our Lady's Blue Army. She enjoyed volunteering at Tipp City Needy Basket and The Clothesline. Ruth loved playing cards, especially Euchre, reading, making Rosaries and Scapulars and sewing. She was a good cook and will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

A visitation will be held 9:00 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 19, 2025 at Emmanuel Catholic Church, 149 Franklin St, Dayton, OH 45402. Father Seraphine Lesiriam, Celebrant. Burial to follow at St. John's Cemetery, Tipp City.
